Tiger Woods, golf legend, has recently been discovered to also be an apparent legend with the ladies. Way to go Tiger.
Most people would argue that Woods’ extramarital transgressions are appalling as if they have never had problems practicing fidelity in a monogamous relationship. I, contrarily, would like to congratulate the man – have you seen these women? They are gorgeous. Not to say that his wife is a woman of lesser beauty, as she surely is not, but come on Americans – as if you have never cheated. Please.
I also have a number of criticisms, one aimed toward Woods, the majority, however, are directed at the media.
My only qualm with Tiger’s extramarital research is that it was extramarital research. He chose to get married; one should not do so unless one is willing to play by the rules. His behavior is sure to destroy his family; his kids will surely suffer. I do understand that he is currently in a sex rehab located in Arizona, which is great, but, he should have taken care of his little problem before it landed him on the contemptible side of the media’s spotlight.
My prejudices toward the media in this matter, as I have already stated, are more numerous.
Firstly, the media should not be able to publicize an individual’s private affairs simply because that individual happens to be one of the best golfers to have ever played the game. I mean, say I were married (which I am not), met a hotter woman with whom I had a stronger chemistry, and decided to sleep with her, the media would not be publicizing my blunder; if they did, I would file a lawsuit. They should not be able to publicize Tiger’s.
Another thing that ‘grinds my gears’ concerning the media is that they ask other celebrity’s opinions about the incident; if they wanted to disclose their thoughts on the matter, they might start a blog as I have done; they have not, so leave them alone.
Leave Tiger alone too. He has not caused you any harm, he is taking steps to alleviate himself of his ‘disease,’ and I am sure that he would prefer to deal with this matter privately; oh, and he could still crush you on the golf course.
